Randy joins The Headstrong Project as the Vice President of Corporate Partnerships after previously serving as the Director of Corporate Alliances at the USO. Randy is a passionate advocate and dedicated supporter of the military and veteran communities, with an extensive background in the non-profit sector. With over 13 years of experience, Randy had demonstrated a deep commitment to serving those who serve. Randy has successfully overseen operations, programs and fundraising efforts, making a significant impact in the lives of military personnel and their families.
From 2010 – 2012, Randy worked with the USO in Kuwait and Afghanistan, providing crucial support and boosting morale for troops stationed overseas. Following this, Randy joined the Royal British Legion in the United Kingdom where she played a vital role in raising funds for the organization’s annual Poppy Appeal from 2013-2015. After returning to the United States, Randy returned to served at the USO where she focused on delivering resiliency programming to military families in the state of North Carolina. Beginning in 2020, Randy’s focus shifted to raising funds for the USO with a specialty in building strong corporate partnerships. Through her extensive experience in supporting the military, Randy has seen first-hand the challenges the veteran community faces when they lack adequate support systems and is resolute in making sure the military community has the services they need – the services that The Headstrong Project helps provide.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Randy shares a deep connection with the military through her husband who currently serves at Fort Liberty. They are proud parents of two daughters and find joy in spending quality time with their family and friends. In her free time, Randy loves exploring the outdoors with her two beagles, taking trips to the Carolina coast, traveling the world, and embracing new experiences.
