Chelsea began her career in non-profit after graduating from Old Dominion University in 2013 with a degree in English, Professional Writing. After working as the Center Director of two USO locations on Naval Station Norfolk, Chelsea was hired as the Director of Resource Development for the USO of Hampton Roads and Central Virginia. In this role, she was responsible for all facets of funding the organization.
In 2020 the organization merged into one with USO, Inc., and Chelsea took on a corporate fundraising role. She enjoys building strong partnerships with donors and takes pride in collaborating with colleagues and mission supporters alike. In addition to Chelsea’s passion for supporting active and prior service members, she loves to volunteer for animal welfare organizations and assist recovering veterans through equine therapy.
