Noelle Melton, LCSW, is a military spouse and passionate about her work and the mission of The Headstrong Project. Noelle has worked in crisis intervention and suicide prevention, case management, and the direct provision of counseling services. She has enjoyed working with clients of diverse backgrounds in a variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient community mental health agencies and medical settings.
Noelle earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Texas Tech University, followed by both an M.A. in research psychology and a MSW from San Diego State University. As a graduate student, she focused her research on PTSD and anxiety disorders.
Over the course of her career, Noelle has had the opportunity to work with clients experiencing a range of mental health concerns, including trauma, substance use, and severe and persistent mental illness. She feels privileged to be a part of each client’s journey towards healing. Currently, she is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker registered in Florida.
Noelle currently resides in Pensacola, Florida where her husband is a Marine Corps Helicopter Instructor Pilot. In her free time, Noelle enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and reading.
