The impact of PTSD extends well beyond veterans and service members. The persistent effects of PTSD reverberate through homes, families, communities, schools, and workplaces.

Donating to THP directly funds clinical mental health services for veterans, service members, and their families, enabling them to access the treatment they need to TRIUMPH OVER TRAUMA

Pasha P.

The thing is, when you’ve been through trauma or head injuries, where everybody wakes up with a glass that’s half full of water, you wake up permanently with a glass that’s half empty.

That’s when suicide was not only real, but it was logical option for me.

Jessica, my Headstrong therapist, basically helped me during the period of me coming out of rock bottom. And because of that, she helped to alleviate one of the biggest causes of my self-destructive behavior and has allowed me to become a better father to my children and a better husband to my wife.

Headstrong has allowed me to reconnect to my humanity again because I feel like I’m seen as a human being and not just a service member. “
