Paul Casey is a Managing Director and leads the dedicated Private Wealth Management branch in Morgan Stanley’s Global Headquarters in New York City.
Paul is passionate about supporting Private Wealth Management teams committed to delivering the best of Morgan Stanley to their clients. Throughout his career, Paul has focused on addressing the complex needs of ultra high net worth families. He actively partners with our Private Wealth Advisors and their teams to support some of the most complex & sophisticated clients in the world.
Paul joined Morgan Stanley in 2002 as an Analyst in the Investment Management division. He transitioned to the Wealth Management business in 2004 as the Firm embarked in a transformative process for the delivery of products to individual investors. In 2007, Paul was asked to focus on the Private Wealth Management segment where he led the Strategy and Business Management efforts globally. In 2010, Paul was promoted to Chief Operating Officer of Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management. He transitioned to his current role in 2017.
Paul’s introduction to the Headstrong Project was as senior advisor to a select team of Morgan Stanley employees participating in the firm’s Strategy Challenge for charitable organizations in April 2015. The Strategy Challenge team helped the Headstrong Project formulate an expansion plan to cities in great need of help for veterans dealing with post-traumatic stress, ultimately winning first place. Paul is also a board member of the National Football Foundation’s NYC Chapter. A native of Buffalo, NY, Paul attended Fordham University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Paul and his wife Marika live in the NYC area and spend the majority of their weekends outdoors in upstate NY with their dog, Lani.
